Wrangler owners and their new vehicles are ready for the next big thing, with a range of new options and more powerful engines coming in the 2019 model year.
But the Wrangler family still offers some of the most popular and best-selling vehicles on the market, and if you want to keep your Wrangler brand alive, you’ll need to keep up with the latest tech.
Check out the top five cars on the 2018 Jeep Wranglers, plus some of our favorite cars of the past year, with all of the new features and upgrades.1.
Jeep Wranger 4Runner (2018) This Jeep Wrangle is powered by a new four-cylinder engine that is 1.8L, a bigger engine than the outgoing model.
It also has a six-speed manual transmission.
Jeep has also redesigned the front bumper, adding a more pronounced grille.
It’s available in both black and silver, and is available with the new 4-wheel disc brake.2.
Jeep Grand Cherokee (2018-2019) Jeep is launching a new Wrangler-based crossover, the Grand Cherokee, in 2018.
Jeep says the Grand is equipped with a 1.6L engine that gives the Wrangler the same power as a 1-liter turbocharged four-wheel drive system, but it’s also a bigger, heavier car.
This makes the Grand a good choice for people who want to haul stuff around.
The Grand Cherokee gets an automatic transmission, while Jeep says you can choose between a six or eight-speed transmission.3.
Jeep Renegade (2019) The Renegade is the first new Jeep Wrager model since 2016, and it gets a new 5.0L engine with a four-speed automatic.
Jeep is calling this a five-speed version of the Grand Cherokees, and we’d say it’s probably the best combination.
The Renegades also get a bigger body, a larger grille, and the front grill has been redesigned.4.
Jeep Compass (2019-2026) This is the next-generation Wrangler, with the Compass, which is powered entirely by the same 1.5L turbocharged engine.
It has a more aggressive grille and new styling features, including a new grille grille stripe and a rear bumper spoiler.5.
Jeep Trailhawk (2019 and 2020) The next generation of the Wranger is the Trailhawk, with more powerful 2.5-liter four-barrel turbocharged engines that are 1.9L, the same size as the previous model.
This is also a big SUV, and Jeep says it has a larger SUV grille as well as a taller grille than the previous generation.
This one gets a larger and wider grille with a black exterior and silver interior.6.
Jeep Cherokee (2019, 2020) Jeep’s newest Wrangler is the Cherokee, a crossover that gets a more powerful 3.6-liter engine, 1.7L turbo, and a six speed manual.
Jeep claims the Cherokee has the same fuel economy of a Wrangler SUV, but we’d probably say it gets more power.
The Cherokee gets a 2.8-liter turbodiesel engine, while the Grand comes with a 3.3-liter six-cyline engine.7.
Jeep Rogue (2019–2026, 2025) The new Wrangles are the Rogue, with an electric drivetrain that comes with an optional six-speaker sound system, a rear-facing sunroof, and two different body colors.
Jeep also offers a more compact version, the Rogue Hatchback, with only one seats, while a hatchback version is available.8.
Jeep Patriot (2019 & 2026) The Patriot is a new all-wheel-drive Jeep Wrango with a new 2.0-liter 4-cyl.
The Patriot gets a bigger SUV griller with a wider grilles, a more prominent grille badge, and more aggressive styling.
Jeep doesn’t say which color of the grill it comes with, but its black is the most appealing, with silver and a few other options available.9.
Jeep Frontier (2020) Jeep will also offer a new Frontier SUV.
The Frontier SUV gets a smaller, more compact Jeep Wrangelier, which has a 2-liter three-cyl turbocharged, four-cam 4.0 liter engine.
This engine is a bit smaller than the 3.8 liter that came before, but the Frontier gets the same four-valve engine as the Wrangeliers.
It is a good pickup, with lots of power, and you can add a six wheel to the rear axle.10.
Jeep Tacoma (2020–2030) The Tacoma gets a four speed automatic with a six point automatic gearbox.
The Tacoma also gets a 5-speakers sound system with an active infotainment system and a larger infotax system. It gets a
